Tune In… to Tune Hotels

There are few services hotels don’t offer these days – with everything from seaweed wraps to pillow menus and 24-hour room service available to guests.
But sometimes, all you want is a decent shower and a good night’s sleep – particularly if you’ve already paid through the nose getting to London for the Olympic Games.
That’s where Tune Hotels comes in.
A collection of “limited service” hotels that began life in Malaysia before mushrooming across the UK, Tune concentrates on central locations, power showers, 24-hour security, “five-star” Hypnos beds, and very little else. Guests can buy access to towels, TVs and Wi-Fi for an additional charge, but basic rooms start from £35/€44pp.
Two new Tune hotels are opening in advance of the Olympics – one in Paddington on June 25th, another at King’s Cross on July 9th.
Doubles during the Games cost from £99/€124.
