Yay! I’m delighted to have won the ‘Best Piece of Photojournalism’ Award at the Caribbean Tourism Association’s Journalism Awards 2013. It’s a huge honour!
The awards were announced at World Travel Market in London last night, and I won for a feature I wrote and shot for National Geographic Traveller UK in Antigua & Barbuda.
Above and below are some of the pix. You can read the full feature here.
Stingray City, Antigua:

Buba’s Hideout, Antigua:

Wadadli Park, Antigua:

Enormous thanks to Pat Riddell and the team at National Geographic Traveller UK for commissioning and publishing the piece. It’s a publication I love writing for.
Congrats to fellow National Geo contributor, Alex Dalzell, who won Best Consumer Feature for a piece on St. Vincent titled ‘A Life Less Ordinary’. You can read Alex’s piece online here.
